Beefeater Gin is an English gin produced in London in the London Dry Gin style, which was first launched in 1820, and is still produced using the same method and ingredients. The name Bipiter comes from the nickname that clings to the keepers of the London Citadel, which is a distinctly British symbol, and an illustration of one of the guards appears on the bottle label.
