Tequila Jose Cuarbo Reserve de la Familia is the first extra tequila tequila in the world. The tequila was chosen from the private collection of the Cuarbo family. The tequila is made from 100% blue agave harvested just at its peak after 7-12 years of field growth. The tequila is aged for 3 years in American oak barrels. The tequila comes in a fancy wooden case. Perfect for a gift.
The aging process of Extra Tejilo Tequila takes longer than that of Regular Tequila Anihu. The Reserve de la Familia was launched in 1995 in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Cuarbo Company and is produced in accordance with the heritage and traditional production of the Cuarbo family. It is made from 100% blue agave aged for 3 years in French and American oak barrels and thanks to this it gets a beautiful amber color. It is then diluted with water, bottled and manually numbered in a bottle with the wax-sealed stopper.
