1800 Cristalino is a tequila that will be aged in two types of barrels - American and French, for 16 months. After the vinification of the two tequilas from the different barrels, the tequila goes to FINISH in a port barrel for another 6 months. After an aging period of 22 months, the tequila is filtered through activated charcoal, which leaves it as clear as crystal.
In the nose you can notice an explosive sweetness, mainly thanks to the high quality agave, combined with aromas of dried yellow flowers, apple cider and a little earthiness and grassiness. All this in combination with flavors of caramel, nutmeg, a little nougat and fresh flavors of herbs and agave. The finish is medium, sweet and velvety with a perfect closure of aged, caramelized agave and a little herbaceousness.
