Product Description

Charles Tankry began distilling his gin in Pinesbury, north of London as early as 1830. In the same year, the Irish Inis Kofi invented the continuous refining method, which is still called the Kofi Steel or Kofi method. Tanker, like Alexander Gordon, was careful to create a dry and special pure gin for that period. After several years of trying, Tankri found his secret herbal formula and began producing fine gin. His first export came to the British settlers who simply took his gin among the rest of their tools and property.
