First launched in 1909, it was the first luxury whiskey in history to release an aged Prestige edition. In 1919, with the introduction of the American Dry Law, his traces disappeared in the USA, and in the 1920s, his traces disappeared completely after a fire raged in the company's warehouses and with it the remains of the precious barrels. After years of continuous research, Chivas Master Blender Colin Scott was able to recreate the prestigious brand. And in 2007 the prestige brand Chivas Regal was relaunched 25 years to the world. A mature whiskey with an uncompromising presence and a long and persistent finish.
From the very beginning, the Chivas brothers were synonymous with quality and prestige. In 1801, the brothers opened their gourmet food store in Aberdeen, Scotland. They supplied luxury food and drinks from around the world to the European elite. Soon, the brothers, and especially the fine malt whisky they offered, became a household name. When Queen Victoria first visited Scotland, she ordered many products from their food store. In 1843, the brothers received a royal warrant from the Queen ordering them to supply her with products, becoming the main suppliers to the royal household. In 1850, they responded to the demands of their discerning customers and created Royal Glen Dee, their first blended Scotch whisky. The two blended single malts with soft grain whiskies, creating a balanced and smooth blend. In 1909, the brothers launched Chivas Regal 25 Year Old, the world's first luxury whisky. Over the years, the company has released classics, such as Chivas Regal 12 and Chivas Regal 18, which have enjoyed worldwide success, particularly in the American jet set.
