This is the latest addition to the regular line of Qualan Triple Cask Sherry whiskey aged in three different sherry casks: Oloroso, Pedro Jimenez and Muscat. As its creators say, this combination gives a nice complexity to this whiskey, where you can find hints of dried fruit, rich caramel, sweet malt and tropical notes.
Kwalan Distillery was established in 2005 and is the first whiskey distillery in Taiwan. Kavalan enjoys tropical weather, pure water and fresh air that contribute greatly to the characteristics of the whiskey it produces. The name of the distillery is derived from the old name of the island where it is located.
