Product Description

Malibu production begins with the collection of molasses from the cane. This molasses is mixed with water and yeast and fermented to alcohol. The liquid undergoes a triple distillation at a dedicated distillery in Black Rock , Barbados. At this point, some of the rum is mixed with natural coconut extract and sugar and some aged in oak barrels for a year or two and then mixed with natural flavored extracts.
Finally, the liqueur is packaged in the special white bottle, with the palm trees and the Caribbean sun.

Rom Malibu has received a number of industry awards, including Impact Magazine's Hot Brand Award for 2003, 2004, 2005 and the Adam's Brand Growth Award.

Malibu's white rum is the world's leading coconut-flavored rum drink. More than three million Malibu crates are sold annually, in more than 150 countries around the world. Malibu was born in the mid-17th century in Barbados in the Caribbean, then making sugar cane orchards near distilleries.
