PEACOCK RIDGE CHENIN BLANC - The grapes for this Shiraz come from Swartland and Farelberg, from as high vineyards as possible. It is a round wine, very balanced and delicate. Lots of cassis flavors, sour plums, wrapped in really scented aromas. The mouth is concentrated, without overloading. Great for different red meat dishes, but also for chocolate desserts.
On the Vineyard: The boat vineyards are planted in the Stellenbosch coastal area on hills called the "Golden Triangle" for being an exceptional terro rosa of deep and uncharacteristically cool terra rosa that are very beneficial to the ripening of the boat. Vineyards are grown using organic and biodynamic methods.
