The Isle of Skye is the northern region of the Scottish Highlands and its rich history includes finding fossilized dinosaurs, bloody tribal wars, and lots of good whiskey. Talisker Distillery, located on the Isle of Skye, decided to honor the proud tradition of Skye and release a special edition whiskey that represents the rocky and rugged nature of Skye, together with the sweetness and saltiness characteristic of its inhabitants, in one elegant bottle. The classic character of Talisker perfectly represents the distillery's key phrase "Made By The Sea" in that their whiskeys are smoky and harsh with a typical sea saltiness but also as sweet and calm as the sea can be. This Talisker further refines the smoky and salty aspects of Talisker and thus is a bit more approachable, but definitely still Talisker.

ניחוחות : מתיקות הדרים ותפוזים טריים המתפתח לניחוחות מנגו רך. אוויר ימי עם אצות, עצי סחף ומלח .
בחֵך : רך ומתוק בהתחלה מעקצץ בלשון, עם עשן קל. הופך במהירות ליותר חריף ומלוח עם חריפות לוהטת. סיומת יבשה יותר ובאורך בינוני, עם טעם המתמשך וחלק.
