Hibiki Master Select whiskey was originally intended for the duty free market only but due to its dizzying success, Suntory Distillery decided to release it to all markets. It is a blend of at least 10 types of Japanese malt, including Yamazaki, Chita and Akusho, which has been aged in several different types of barrels such as American white oak, sherry and Japanese oak.
This is a whiskey with the most harmonious flavors (as the name suggests) of citrus blossoms, mango, strong woodiness and cinnamon. Like the rest of Hibiki's Harmony series, this whiskey also comes without an age statement.
