It is not for nothing that they say that whiskey and cigars go hand in hand and this is because each of them enhances the flavors of the other, but not every bottle that is opened will suit the experience (smoked whiskey will not always suit because of its flavors). That is why in 1999 the Delmore Distillery began producing a special and aromatic whiskey to go with the cigar until in 2009 production was stopped. After many requests they decided to put the bottle back on the shelves and since then it has starred in quite a few cigar magazines and has won gold medals in international whiskey competitions without fail. The whiskey will be aged in barban barrels, sherry and cabernet sauvignon wine.
