From The Character of Islay Whiskey Company comes a mysterious Islay single malt called Aerolite Lyndsay. The peated whiskey is sourced from an unknown distillery on the island, although we're told the liquid has been aged for 10 years in a mix of bourbon and Spanish oak sherry casks, which sounds absolutely delicious. It's bottled without any added color, or any of that chilling filtration

Product Description


Nose: lots of marine peat, with notes of iodine interwoven with the sweetness of honey, paprika, salted caramel and old bookshelves.

Mouth: The smoke returns alongside dark mint chocolate, espresso and new leather, with honey and soy sauce mixed together.

Finish: boiled mint sweets, all kinds of licorice, campfire smoke and toffee face, with a pinch of salt.
