In honor of the 200-year celebrations for the Isle of Jura distillery Bocabeca, the 21-year version of the distillery. Marzipan, walnut and dark chocolate flavors. The Isle of Jura distillery operates on the Scottish island of Jura, which lies in the southwest of Scotland off the west coast. The unique climatic conditions of the island are well felt in the excellent whiskey of the distillery - the various editions of Isle of Jura have a slightly oily body, and peat flavors, herbaceous notes and a delicate and very pleasant sweetness are felt in it. The original Jura distillery was already established in 1810 but was dismantled in 1903 and ceased to operate. The current Isle of Jura distillery was re-established in 1963 and is therefore considered one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland.
