The Delmore 12 single malt is aged for the first 9 years in American white oak bourbon barrels. After that, half of the quantity was transferred for another 3 years to the barrels that were used to age the Oloroso sherry drink. The result is a particularly rich whiskey that combines complex and sweet cherry flavors. The aromas are of fine espresso, malt, grains, butter and oranges. The sensation on the palate is of rich and sweet jam, triple sec liqueur, winter spices, fruit cake and milk chocolate. The finish is medium with orange aromas.
