In 1843 William Mathieson established the Glenmorangie Distillery in the highlands of Scotland next to the mouth of the Dornoch River. Mathieson distilled whiskey with uncompromising quality, dedication and creativity in order to create the perfect whiskey. Glenmorangie whiskey is distilled in the highest boilers (8 meters) in Scotland which gives us a pure, clean and velvety distillate.

Product Description


The symbol on the bottle originates from an 8th century AD sculpture called Cadbull's Tombstone. This is one of the most significant European sculptures from the period and symbolizes the tradition of the Scottish people from then until today.

Means heat and passion in Gaelic, whiskey aged in barrels for at least 12 years. A rich and full whiskey, aged in Barban barrels and then the whiskey is finished in Sherry Oloroso or Pedro Jimenez barrels. The sherry barrels enrich the single malt with raisin, toffee and spice flavors. The whiskey has aromas of spices, chocolate and raisins. Flavors of sherry, oranges, butter candies and walnuts.
