A fine single malt aged for 21 years in traditional barrels and then transferred to another short aging period in port barrels that were used to age sweet and fine port wine, which gives the whiskey fruity, delicate and elegant notes. The fragrances of Balvini 21 are perfumed and have notes of fruits, nuts and juicy raisins. The flavors are incredibly refined and smooth and you can feel them in juicy fruits, honey and spices. The finish is long, soft and nutty.
Bellviny Distillery is considered one of the most beloved Scottish distilleries in the world. It was established by the owner of the Glenfiddich Distillery in the Speyside area and draws its pure water from the Ruby Dou spring on its premises. The distillery was named after the nearby Balvini Castle which was built in the 13th century and hosted many generations of nobles and kings. The unique character of Bellvini whiskey also stems from the fine barley that makes it up, which the distillery grows exclusively on its territory.
